Only show this user. just picked up a safariland comp I for the j-frame. it's less than half ($12) the jet loader cost ($30). very compact, easy to load up, 2/3rds the jet loader size, but not as easy/fast to unload as the jet loader. part of the issue may be that the central "activator

Jan 17, 2015 · I bought an HKS CA-44 speedloader for a Charter Arms Bulldog, .44 Special. It will work but a small difference in cylinder vs loader configuration make it so that you have to wiggle it slightly to get the rounds in. SAFARILAND and HKS we need help!

Jan 02, 2008 · If you use other guns w/speedloaders for which only HKS makes speedloaders, then HKS is probably the safer choice. IOW, don't mix speedloader types if your life may depend on it. IMHO, I believe Safariland is better for reasons cited in some of the previous posts, but I would only use HKS routinely for myself as they make .22, .32, .41, .44

Feb 09, 2019 · I've always been partial to the Safariland Comp II speedloaders, unfortunately they do not make them for the SP101. I used them when I carried a Ruger Security Six back in the 80's…never had the problem of inadvertent release like so many of my peers did using the HKS twist-style loaders.

Aug 04, 2020 · I'm kicking tires on the HKS loaders for my GP100 and SP101, in 357 mag. They look durable enough. Any problems with cartridges falling out of the loader, or ?? The SafariLand and Speed Beez look too "fiddly" for my taste.
