IOW, don't mix speedloader types if your life may depend on it. IMHO, I believe Safariland is better for reasons cited in some of the previous posts, but I would only use HKS routinely for myself as they make .22, .32, .41, .44

I used them when I carried a Ruger Security Six back in the 80's…never had the problem of inadvertent release like so many of my peers did using the HKS twist-style loaders.
